What are CCTV surveys?

24/7 Availability: Our engineers are on-call 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring we’re there when you need us.

Our CCTV surveys are used in many situations. Our camera equipment can survey pipes from 40mm upwards, allowing us to assess condition and structural integrity and diagnose blockages or other issues along the whole network, from internal pipework to public sewers.

Our camera vehicles carry the necessary equipment to break through blockages in pipes up to 150mm, so surveying can be completed without the need for a return visit.

We can also conduct CCTV surveys as part of pre-purchase or environmental surveys, to map the drainage infrastructure and ensure discharges are in line with Environment Agency legislation.

We detect issues with your drainage network including blockages, infiltration, tree root ingress, misconnections, or structural defects, and recommend remedial action to get your drainage fully operational.

Build-over surveys

We use CCTV to check the location, structural integrity and flow of pipes prior to building work taking place so a build-over agreement can be put in place if needed.

Sewer and drain adoption surveys

We offer as-built surveys of new sewers and drains using state-of-the-art CCTV technology to ensure they are properly installed and free from defects, prior to their adoption into the public sewer network aligned to section 102, 104 & 185 agreements.

Highway adoption surveys

We offer as-built surveys for highway adoption coloured to the local authority standard, supported by land transfer plans, highway inventories and asset specification inventories where applicable aligned to Section 38, 228 & 278 agreements.

Manhole surveys

Surveys are carried out by CCTV and provide the asset owner with detailed information and photographs on the manhole structure and condition, including the diameter of pipe inlets and outlets, depths of inverts and step iron and cover conditions. This allows them to track how the asset is deteriorating and plan maintenance and repairs.
